Mamma' Point
Mamma’ Point
As of November 19, 2013, there are five "Mamma’ Points", discreet and welcoming spaces in which a mother may breastfeed her child in peace. These have been established in five municipal locations and represent a development in cultural awareness and an improvement in urban accessibility.
The Mammà Points, in the words of Councillor Tiziana Agostini, make Venice "a city for families, less provincial, and able to offer services which are widely available in the rest of Europe."
This initiative is sponsored by Rossopomodoro Mestre, whose owner Nicola Galeotti has demonstrated a keen interest in the Venice region and great appreciation of corporate social responsibility.
